KAB Clean Sweep 2010

Clean Sweep is an annual city-wide cleanup that is held by the Keep Austin Beautiful organization. Thousands of volunteers come together to clean up parks, creeks, streets and other littered areas in Austin.

This year's Clean Sweep took place on Sunday, April 10 from 9am until 11am. Over 4,300 volunteers came out to clean various areas in Austin and 30 tons of trash was collected.

Following the cleanup, a volunteer party took place at Waterloo Park where there was live music, free lunch, activities and door prizes for all the Clean Sweep participants.
